RIIDES302D – Inspect, test & maintain joints on diesel engine systems
RIIDES303D – Inspect, test & maintain cooling systems on diesel engine systems
RIIDES304D – Inspect, test & maintain inlet systems on diesel engine systems
RIIDES305D – Inspect, test & maintain exhaust systems on diesel engine systems
RIIDES306D – Inspect, test & maintain safety shutdown systems on diesel engine systems
RIIDES307D – Test, determine the cause & rectify excessive emission levels on diesel engine systems

Student to provide copy of mechanical trade certificate and evidence of diesel engine experience.
This course runs at our training facilities in Mackay QLD and Rutherford NSW. Alternatively, training can be delivered onsite at your workplace (Minimum numbers may apply).
Techserve offers DES training from the RII – Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package. This course meets the underground coal mining industry’s requirement for those conducting maintenance on explosion protected diesel engine systems. The course is suitable for persons with trade qualifications that are maintaining diesel vehicles, as well as MEM’s, supervisors and diesel co-ordinators to give them an understanding of the necessary skills, competencies, standards, acts and regulations applicable to diesel engine systems used in underground coal mines.
