Josh is a professional electrical engineer who joined Techserve in 2016 to increase the support and engineering services available at our NSW branch. Josh has worked in senior management and engineering positions for hazardous area electrical OEM’s since completing a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Newcastle.
He has relevant competencies in overhaul, repair, inspection and maintenance of hazardous area equipment. As an AS3800 responsible person, Josh has managed an AS3800 workshop whose capabilities included the manufacturing of flameproof equipment and also the overhaul and repair of a variety of protection techniques.
In addition, Josh has also developed a wide range of integrated safety control systems for explosion protected equipment, predominately underground mobile machines such as miners and shuttle cars etc. These are all compliant to relevant standards including functional safety and are tailored to the customer’s requirements.
Josh has also completed the TÜV Functional Safety (Hardware and Software Design) accreditation from TÜV Rhineland and completed his MBA from the University of Newcastle in 2016.
Josh intends to work closely with Techserve’s customer base to improve the quality and delivery of our services, as well expand our NSW operations into products and services in demand.
